Everlasting Hope

In a perfect world, I’d be president of the United States. Or some big time famous person.  Or even a reality TV sensation. But you see, things don’t work in our favor. And no matter how much we try and say our world is perfect, it truly isn’t. I’m a firm believer that life is what you make it. But life is also out to get you so you have to make sure you’re careful or you’ll end up in a situation like me..

You see, almost a year ago, I met this guy. Very handsome, very nice, and just an overall good person to be around. Although I did meet him on pretty bad terms, we managed to become friends somehow. Two weeks later, from the first initial time we met, we met again. It just so happened, I saw him at a party I was at. Nothing big, we just exchanged a few words because we didn’t really know each other. However, after the party, somehow he ended up in the backseat of my friend’s car. I DON’T KNOW HOW THIS HAPPENED BUT IT DID. We dropped him off at his friend’s house where his car was which was only a few minutes away from where the party was. I knew he was crazy so I convinced him to make out with my friend (IT WAS REALLY NOT HARD). Neither of us really knew him. I grew up around his friends but somehow we didn’t meet until this past year. Anyways, our friendship progressed and we started texting here and there, hanging out with the friends we have in mutual. Now, 8 months later, I have what today’s generation calls “the feels”. Meaning I have feelings towards him. But, there are just some things better left unsaid, reasons that got me to how I feel today that I choose not to share with the world. I knew from the beginning that he wasn’t one of me. But his actions proved otherwise. I tried for a very long time to tell myself that I didn’t like him but that didn’t work. It’s been months and months of the same stuff. And now, I feel like everything is crashing at once. Things are changing. Not drastically but it’s the little things that are making me feel some type of way. Things are happening now that I shouldn’t even bug me, but they do.  I just feel like I allowed myself to get emotional invested and dragged along like a dog and now I can’t seem to shake this funky feeling I get every day. I can’t believe I let it myself get like this but I’ve never been in this situation to where I actually liked someone. I’m always the friend that would say “screw people why waste time on liking someone” and now look at where I am (LOL). The dilemma I have every day is what to do because he considers me as his “best friend” so we hang out pretty often. Usually, people take some time away from a person if they’re feeling some type of way about them and the feeling isn’t mutual. BUT, he’s really fun and I always have a good time when I’m with him. So what do I do? I still don’t know the answer to this. I can’t see us not hanging out or not being friends but at the same time, I need to think about myself now. Of course, he doesn’t know any of this. Well, let me rephrase that, I’m sure he knows or at least have a feeling because he referred to me as his “best friend but sometimes I act like his girlfriend”. He just wants to hear it from my mouth. But I’ll never give him that satisfaction.

In a perfect world, we’ll be together. In a perfect world, I’d have everything I’ve ever hoped for. But the reality is, the world isn’t perfect and neither is anyone in it. You can choose which way you’d like to live your life and be so happy. Good things don’t last forever they say. But you can always have hope. And in my life, hope is everlasting.

2015 Grammys

Hi, Welcome back! If this is your first time, thank you for taking the time and reading my blog. For returners, welcome back! This is now my 4^th blog (woohoo!) not sure why I’m keeping track. It’s just fun!

 

Today’s topic of discussion is about the 2015 Grammys, mostly, I’ll be covering what the celebrities’ appearance, but I never stay on topic. Fun fact! I was actually in California this past weekend (where it’s held) when it was happening for my friend’s birthday. As we were trying to come home on Sunday, we saw the red carpet event going on. So, my friend immediately got off the freeway and we headed towards it. We were all freaking out. It was the closet any of us has ever been to a red carpet event. When we got off, of course, it was really packed in downtown LA so we just drove by and then proceeded on the freeway and continued coming home. Wicked experience!

First I want to discuss what worked and what didn’t as far as appearance

 

Let’s begin with, Taylor Swift  

First of all, I am obsessed with her new album, 1989. If you haven’t heard it you’re missing out. It’s a very great come back. She really made something that made her stand out! But upon that, she looked amazing at the Grammys. With her teal blue fitted dress (at the top) and then it just flowed down to her feet. Amazing. Not to mention, her shoes. They were like magenta. Everything just went well for her. She won three well deserved awards too! Best solo performance, record of the year, and song of the year. I think she deserved these. Way to go, Taylor!

 

Someone’s outfit whose was rather….interesting was Rihanna’s. I use to be a really big fan of hers. She had amazing albums back in the day. But now, she actually disguises me. She has a nasty attitude and thinks she’s the shit. Like excuse homegirl I know you think you’re like the Jamaican princess or whatever but I’m the HBIC so back off. And all I ever see is videos of her in skimpy clothes smoking weed which is fine, just don’t make videos of you doing it. Like what do you want a cookie because you’re so cool? Also, she makes fun of other people. She just thinks she’s soooo bomb but she’s not all that. See! I told you I can never stay on topic. Anyways, she supposedly arrived to the Grammys late. She can’t blame it on her fashion because she looked ridiculous. She almost liked like she was in her Quniceanera dress or like a toy off of the top of a cake or like a luffa. Yeah, let’s go with she was portraying a luffa. It would’ve been cute if it were one layer. But, then she decided she wanted to stand out and it didn’t even work because she looked ridiculous. Sometimes I wonder what her fashion people are thinking!  It was a very nice color, though.

 

Next on the list and my favorite look at this year’s Grammys were Sia and Maddie. I guess Sia was trying to go for a matching look and portraying Maddie as her twin or the mini Sia. Sia is one of my favorite artists and I love her new album. There are a lot of things that people think are weird about her. But, I promise it makes sense. What a lot of people don’t know about her is she’s always been a song writer. She’s written for Beyoncé, Rihanna, and many other artists. She recently decided to make an album on her own. One interesting thing about her is that she doesn’t like fame. Well. Let me rephrase that, she doesn’t like showing her face to the media because of the haters and negative people out there. I can’t blame her. She performs with her backside to the audience, she does interviews with her backside to the camera, and she covers her face during red carpet event like at the Grammys, and she also has other people portray her in her music videos. She and Maddie’s outfit were simply flawless! They were inspired by Georgie Armani. Sia’s one piece poncho thing like looked so amazing and her oversized wig used to cover her face was also amazing! Maddie’s long blazer type overcoat was really nice to look at one her. It fit really really well and her shoes were super cute. And as for the performance, it was flawless. Just so great, and Sia is a really great live singer!

 

My last and final person I would like to talk about is Mile Cyrus. If you didn’t know, she is my favorite person in the whole entire world. Her dress was really sexy, lots of skin showing, but she rocked it! She also went make up free besides a little mascara. I don’t really have much to say, besides that she’s amazing and I love her!

Miss Universe Pagent 2015

Today’s topic, if you couldn’t tell by the name, I’m going to be covering my opinion on the top 5 contestants from the Miss Universe pageant and what I think the outcome should’ve been. First, I would like to say that just because I’m from the USA doesn’t mean I’m bias in anyway. And I’m also a pageant junkie!  Here we go! (:

 

Coming in 5^th Miss Ukraine, Diana Harkusha

Diana is one of the youngest contestants. But, don’t let that fool you. The 20 year old has won many pageants including her state title, her county title, and Miss International. However, all of that did get her the win in this year’s Miss Universe. She made it to the top 5 and placed which is pretty good considering the Ukraine has never won Miss Universe so her making it to the top 5; I’m sure made her country proud! I’m sure this isn’t the last we will be seeing of Diana. The 20 year old is working as a model all over the world and is also attending law school in her country. Watch out world! And congratulations, Diana

 

 Coming in 4^th Miss Jamaica, Kaci Fennel

                First of all, she is absolutely beautiful. Love the short hair on her. Besides being beautiful, she also has the brains to match. She’s just simple girl who loves her family and also enjoys her family activities. Her mom is a baker, so she loves food which is so ironic considering how fit she is. But I guess you have to be fit to be a model and to compete. Jamaica is another country who has never won the Miss Universe title. Kaci had a beautifully fit red gown on during evening gown which I think went really well with her skin tone and hair. She was the only girl who didn’t “fit” the typical pageant look which she stated in an interview that you don’t always have to have the physical appearance, it matters what’s in the inside. I will always respect her for that. Many girls always try and fit this specific image not only for pageants but just in everyday life. And she really made it known that all you have to do is be yourself in life and that can get you far. I’m looking forward to seeing the exciting things she’s going to be doing in the upcoming years of her life. Congratulations, Kaci  

Coming in 3^rd Miss Netherlands, Yasmin Verheijen

                Another young soul being an example for young people. Yasmin wore a dark yellow colored dress for her evening gown that really fit darker skin tone and the jewelry to match it was absolutely stunning. She definitely stood her own and surprised everyone when she was announced third runner up. She’s another one, who isn’t all about looks and really means it. Girls from her country are so underestimated but she’s proving everyone wrong and is being a great role model for her country. Netherlands has won one Miss Universe title. Congratulations, Yasmin and I look forward to seeing what you do both in your country and internationally.

 

Coming in 2^nd Miss USA, Nia Sanchez

                Nia isn’t the typical pageant girl. She doesn’t hold multiple titles like most women do. She first entered the pageant world in 2009. Since then, she’s competed both internationally and domestically. She is a 4^th degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do which also matches her competitiveness. She is a fierce competitor. During competition, she was one of the three finalists whom wore a red dress and it fit her beautifully. I love how full her hair is. I am positive this won’t be the last time we see Nia. She has an amazing life ahead of her. USA has the most title holders for Miss Universe.

 

Miss Universe 2015, Paulina Vega

                Paulina is from Columbia and started off at the age of 8 years old as a model. Her days as a pageant girls started off young watching her grandma win Miss Columbia 1953. From there, it triggered her pageant career. She’s studying business admin and has big shoes to fill. Most of her family has prestige careers such as cardiologist and singers in her country. I’m excited to see what her year as Miss Universe is going to be like. Congratulations, Paulina!  

Now that you know the top 5 and a little about them, now it’s time for me to share what I think. I think Miss Jamaica definitely deserved 3^rd instead of 4^th. She had better qualities and she was more equipped verses Miss Netherlands. I do think Miss USA should’ve won. This is not me being bias because she’s Miss USA or because she was the former Miss Nevada USA or even because her hometown is Las Vegas and that’s where I live or even because she’s actually my friend, I just play by the rules. She was the best candidate to represent the universe. Not only did she give better answers in the question round, she was also more confident and knew what she was talking about. As for the other top 5, they didn’t know what they were talking about when it came to the question round. For the Miss Universe organization, I think they should ask the questions in the contestants’ native language. Part of the reason everyone gave really shitty answers besides Miss USA was because she understands English and its entirety. Miss Netherlands had to ask for the question to be repeated twice and she still didn’t get the question based on the answer she gave. Now, they did have interpreters but, the finalist probably felt dumb using them which I know is essentially there fault but they weren’t giving a welcoming  to the interpreter he was kind of just standing there. Overall, I thought it was a pretty fair show until the winner was crowned. I do not hate Miss Columbia but I don’t think she was best fit for Miss Universe.

Celeb Relationships

I'm back!

Today's a BIG topic....Dun.Dun Dun... CELEB RELATIONSHIPS!

Now, this is just going to be a rant of my opinion but, as usual, this is a nevertheless a discussion as well. So feel free to leave questions or comments freely.

The first relationship I'd like to bring up is a big one.. Klyie Jenner and Tyga. First of all, Kylie's lips are NOT popping. I use to think they were but now, she's over doing it. You don't need that much lip liner

Don't get me wrong, she's a very pretty girl and at just 17 years old, she's just going to keep getting prettier. Now, the age gap. Normally I wouldn’t comment on this, but this calls for it. Tyga turned down a performance in a club all because she wasn't allowed in. First of all, I know he probably will still live glamorously but like.. It's just someone he's dating.. She’s not like his wife. I wonder if he was trying to prove a point because if so I don't see the point. He just came off as rather stupid. If you didn't know that tyga was a simp.. Then here it is. HE'S A SIMP. My sources say that they watch movies together and he's always the one crying. Not to mention, he comes off as a "thug" and here he is, crying like a baby over a movie. Pretty hilarious if you ask me. This is one relationship that I honestly, don't mind. I hardly ever see them on magazines or anything probably because still underage. I'll be looking forward to seeing what the future holds for them.

The next relationship I shall talk about is that one that I have some issues with is Ariana Grande and Big Sean.

First, I would just like to say that I don’t really like Ariana Grande as it is. And her being in a relationship makes her more annoying. She's like a little stick and so is he. But more importantly, they haven't been dating for long and word on the street is that they're engaged already. First of all, how can Big Sean do that when he not too long ago, got out of a relationship that he was engaged in. I personally LOVED when he was with Naya Revaria and now I feel like her and Ariana are in competition. Comparing who sang a song better is so stupid. They're both great singers and are very talented in their own ways. I just feel like Ariana is like being salty and showing him off way more than she should to get back at Naya. But, if only she knew, Naya has moved on and doesn't want her man. In fact, NO ONE WANTS HIM BUT HER SO SHE NEEDS TO CHILL LITTLE BITCH. I don’t see what it is about her though.. She has no features besides her talent. But who am I to judge? I'm just an average guy behind a computer screen expressing my opinion. But guess what, my opinion matters so #whatbitch *snaps fingers* I'm sure we'll be hearing things about them all the time! Let's all wait and see how long they last.

The last relationship I would like to discuss... Everyone should know. It's the most annoying one of all.. Sometimes referred to as "KIMYE"... Kim Kardashian-West and Kanye West.

To begin, any relationship Kim is in is just annoying. She's the biggest drama queen I've ever seen. She always gets married way to fast. And the guys, how dumb can they be too! Actually marrying someone within like three months of being together is so dumb. It would take me three months to even get use to you and say we're officially a thing. I'm sure everyone has heard about them getting a divorce. Still hasn't happened. If it does though, I won't be surprised at all. I just think she needs to chill. She has a baby and she’s still showing her ass via internet. I have yet to see one of these ass pictures be viewed as art. They're all pornographic if you ask me. And she's just so famous but let’s not forget how she became famous. Granted it was on both of them but that was way out of character. She should've kept her personal life to herself. As for Kanye, he's an arrogant asshole. I don't see how anyone could be with him. He’s always so negative and seems to never be happy. I'm sick of his demonic music and shitty attitude. Get it together, KIMYE.

First Blog (YAY!)

This is my first blog post YAY!

So.. For starters, I suppose you all want to know about me.

I'm 19 years old, born in California but have been residing in Las Vegas for as long as I can remember.. something like since second grade. So, most of my life. I'm a performer. Specifically, I dance but I have many other talented such as: I play various musical instruments, acting, I guess I can sort of sing(sometimes). I've been preforming all my life and I love it! I love entertaining people. As of now, I am a college student @ The college of southern Nevada pursing a degree in Arts with an emphasis on dance. I plan some day is to move to New York and make it on broadway. I also would like to attend AMDA, which is a preforming arts school where artists like Jason Derulo graduated from. After my career as a dancer (because as we all know it can be very long or very short), I plan to go back to school. Dancing isn't going to pay the bills, especially in NY. However, not sure what I want to do. I'm bouncing back and fourth between maybe becoming a lawyer or maybe opening my own studio or some sort or being a writer. Not to sure, but I guess I should be figuring that out pretty soon. I plan to get famous off of like Youtube or something, this is only the beginning. I'm obsessed with Miley Cyrus. Always has been since 2008 when Hannah Montana started and even more current day. I have a twin sister and one older sister and yeah... I know this is just a bunch of random facts about me but that's what the first post is about, right!? :D They will get better. My blog will consist of everyday problems, celeb gossip, rants, or if I feel like posting something, I will. Well this is the end.
